Knit 11, yo repeat to end (this increases number of stitches to 48 and creates openings for the drawstring)
Knit each round until desired length is reached
Purl 3 rounds to make turn for base
Knit 6, k2tog repeat to end (42 stitches)
Knit 5, k2tog, repeat to end (36 stitches)

Knit 3, k2tog, repeat to end (24 stitches)
Knit 2, k2tog, repeat to end (18 stitches)

K2tog repeat to end (6 stitches)
Cut tail about 4 inches & pull through remaining 6 stitches

Drawstring—make I-cord out of 4 stitches to desired length
